What is a man, if not his style and convictions? Do we not judge a man by the way he presents himself, the manner in which he lives? Man can live life an individual, but within the realm of taste and refinement. I'm talking about class.
There are things every man should have, physical or abstract, to convey that he cares for himself and those who perceive him. These may be objects representing a caring of ones appearance or the way others view us in the world. They may be thoughts or opinions too deep for idle words, requiring instead an unspoken understanding that ones convictions are just. They may even be a frank discussion of matters nothing more than frivolous in nature, instead declaring that ideas and intellect and careful speech are meant to be shared freely.
A man is nothing more than that which he holds dear.
This blog will serve as my thoughts the things every man should possess. Some will be tangible items, such as clothing and trinkets that give off a certain vibe in the eyes of many. Even more will be ideas, simple to complex, insignificant to profound.
My list is not gospel, my list is my own. These are my opinions, this is my rationale. These are the things I believe make a man. Enjoy.
